Statutory Minimum Rate (NYS WCL §204)
The weekly benefit rate cannot fall below the statutory minimum for the date of injury. If 2/3 AWW is less than the minimum, the rate is raised to the minimum — except that if the claimant's AWW is itself lower than the minimum, the rate equals the full AWW. This calculator applies that floor automatically to all rate computations.
